Where do I access my Switch login details and password?
Check your emails from Southern Plumbing which includes a single-use password reset button and the email address we used to set up your account. Follow the link to create a new password and login to your account.
How do I know if I am/my employer is a Southern Plumbing account customer?
If you’re not the business owner we suggest that in the first instance you ask them if they have a trade account with Southern Plumbing. Alternatively you can email us at [email protected] to find out.
Here we outline how to access or create an account.
Existing trade account customer | Check your email from Southern Plumbing Plus to access your password. You’ll be prompted to change your password when you first login. If you can’t find the email you can reset your password and we’ll email you a link to login. |
Future trade account customer | Not yet a trade account customer? If you’re a plumber, builder or other trades professional with interest in applying for a Trade Account register your interest and a team member will contact you. |
Homeowner or occasional trade shopper | If you occasionally shop at Southern Plumbing but are not eligible for a Trade Account, it’s easy to create a Personal Account. You can browse products and create wishlists, track your order and more. |
How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
Delivery timeframes depend on the availability of the products you have ordered, as well as the type and quantity of product. Special orders such as custom vanities and tapware finishes depend on the manufacturer’s lead times, so we recommend allowing sufficient lead time to accommodate your project and installation timelines.
Of course, we’ll always do our best to fulfil urgent orders, whether by means of express delivery, recommending alternative products or another solution.
On receipt on your order, we’ll contact you to confirm product availability, or the timeframe for special and custom orders.
How soon can I collect my products?
If you order products that are marked as “in stock” at your nominated plumbing centre or showroom, you’ll be able to collect your product the same day if ordered before 1pm, or the next day if ordered after 1pm. We’ll do our best to accommodate urgent orders for your project.
If the products you have ordered are being transferred from another store or are special or custom orders the collection timeframes will be discussed with you prior to ordering.
Do you deliver internationally?
We do not currently deliver outside of Australia.
Who will arrange delivery of my order?
A Southern Plumbing staff member will contact you to arrange delivery of your products.
If you are not at your nominated delivery address at scheduled date/time agreed with you, you may incur a re-delivery fee. To avoid additional delivery fees please contact us as soon as possible to re-schedule delivery.

Delivery fees vary depending on the products included in your order. A staff member will be in touch to confirm delivery costs and related arrangements.
Click and Collect fees
There are no fees for Click and Collect orders.

Payment
For Trade Account payments we accept Visa or Mastercard, or you can pay by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or cheque. When you go to pay an invoice, you’ll be prompted to select your type of payment and further details will be provided.
We use the Westpac Bank payment portal.
Plus Factor Rewards
Plus Factor Rewards is our loyalty program designed to give Southern Plumbing account customers more back for purchasing from Southern Plumbing Plus.
Every 1 point you earn gives you $1 to spend, redeemable for goods (electronics, sporting equipment, travel and flights etc) and Visa Debit cash cards. How you redeem your points is completely up to you: use them for yourself or use the program to reward your staff and customers.
You must register to activate your account—an easy process that takes just five minutes.

Technical difficulties
As is the nature of all websites and digital technology, Switch continues to evolve, improve and has the occasional technical issue that requires fixing.
If you come across an error or have difficulty loading a page, be assured we are working to fix it.
In the meantime, we recommend that you clear your cache, deleting the information that is automatically stored on your device when you visit a new site.

Warranties and returns
All products are covered by warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. You may wish to contact the manufacturer directly to streamline the process, or Southern Plumbing can lodge a claim on your behalf. Any faulty product will be inspected and if required fixed or replaced by the manufacturer.
Returns are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. Custom order and altered products, as well as special finish products cannot be returned but are covered by the manufacturer’s terms and conditions of warranty.
How do I apply for a trade account?
To open a trade account, you must apply to Southern Plumbing Plus. To qualify you need an ABN and will undergo credit and referee checks before agreeing to our credit terms and Terms and Conditions for Account Customers.

Can you supply products for commercial projects?
Yes. We have an experienced Commercial Team who work with plumbers, builders, architects, interior designers and other businesses from specification right through to supply. With significant warehousing and distribution capacity, no job is too big or too small.

I’ve seen one of your products cheaper elsewhere. Do you price match?
Yes. If you’ve found a product cheaper elsewhere provide the details to us including a quote, a website link or other reference and we’ll work to bring you the best deal we can.
Please keep in mind that we are an independent, family owned and operated business. As a member of the Plumbing Plus national buying group and our strong supplier relationships, we keep our prices competitive and do our best to price match. This said, for the few additional dollars you may need to pay with us, you’ll be rewarded exemplary customer service. That’s our promise to you.
Is it safe to purchase online?
Yes. We’ve taken every measure to ensure your details are kept private and are treated with respect at all times.
How can I determine product availability?
When browsing our online product catalogue you can see the product availability for your nominated store or showroom. It’s important to set your preferred location for accurate availability. You can do this on the right side of the top navigation at any time or when you first log into Switch.
In stock | Stock is currently available at your nominated store and is ready for delivery or collection the same or next day. |
Low stock | Stock is subject to availability and may require transfer of product from another store or the manufacturer to fulfill order requirements. |
Special order | Special orders such as custom vanities and tapware finishes depend on the manufacturer’s lead times, so we recommend allow a sufficient lead time to accommodate your project and installation timelines. Some special product orders may arrive in as little as 2 to 3 days, whereas other products may take several weeks for manufacturing and delivery. A team member will discuss these timeframes with you before finalising your order. |
